Behind the scenes at Lead Forensics is a feature that gives us the chance to showcase the ongoings at the lead generation software company. From activities and charity ventures to the faces behind the brand, get to know all things LF!

As we find ourselves back at work after the Christmas break, December can seem like a lifetime ago. We wanted to share what the Lead Forensics team got up to throughout December 2019. We are passionate about giving back and helping others — which is why we dedicated December to three incredible charities that support those in need. We had a great 2019 at Lead Forensics, and what better way to end it than with a little Christmas cheer for everyone — including those who needed some help and support over the festive period. Let’s take a look at what December looked like at Lead Forensics HQ in Portsmouth!

Kicking things off on 2 December, the team started by raising money for Royal Navy & Marines Children’s Fund and Cash for Kids: Mission Christmas. Royal Navy & Marines Children’s Fund is the only charity dedicated to supporting children whose parents serve, or have served in the Naval Service. The fund supports children from Naval Families when they are in need, hardship or distress. The charity is based in Portsmouth and helps families within the community. From funding the cost of overnight nurses for children with disabilities to supporting specialist nursery costs, to name just a couple of examples, the charity does truly incredible work. And, Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas toy appeal in the UK, supporting kids in need in 22 areas across the country. Lead Forensics collected donations from across the organization — buying a total of 90 children’s Christmas presents. Find out how you can get involved and, remember, if you want to donate, it’s not too late.

On 13 December, we took part in Christmas Jumper Day, launched by Save The Children — a charity that helps children stay safe, healthy and learning in more than 100 countries. Along with tackling problems like pneumonia, hunger, and protecting children in war, Save The Children wants to ensure every child reaches their full potential so they can grow up to be who they want to be. Christmas Jumper Day sees families, friends, schools, and businesses alike wear a Christmas jumper and make a donation to the fantastic charity. Lead Forensics raised more than £300 for the fantastic charity. Christmas Jumper Day may have already taken place, but Save The Children organizes tons of fundraisers and events that you can take part in.

Finally, throughout the week commencing 16 December, Lead Forensics supported The LifeHouse — a kitchen, resource and support center that serves hot food in Albert Road, Southsea. Open every week for hot breakfasts on Wednesdays from 9am and hot dinners on Thursdays from 7pm, their aim is to show that whatever the circumstances you’re in, there is a way out and help for you. They welcome everybody including the homeless, rough sleepers, underhoused, sofa surfers, those feeling disconnected or/and not so well in themselves, lonely and lacking friendship. Their meals are completely free but those with the means can make a small donation if they wish, or bring something nice to share.

As well as food, The LifeHouse offers support for addiction and helps with therapy, job applications, clothes, toiletries, haircuts and more. Lead Forensics hosted a clothes and food drive, encouraging employees to bring in fresh and non-perishable food, durable and waterproof clothes, sleeping bags, shoes, coats and underwear for the fantastic charity. It’s not too late for you to donate!

From all of us at Lead Forensics, we hope you had a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing what 2020 has in store.
