SUMMARY

Lead Forensics is looking for a talented B2B copywriter to join our exceptional in-house studio team. The ideal candidate will have solid B2B copywriting experience, writing intelligent and engaging copy. They will be able to think conceptually and creatively, whilst also being able to produce both long and short format copy suited to a wide range of digital, social and offline media.

The in-house copywriter will work across two B2B brands – Lead Forensics and Webeo, and will be responsible for staying abreast of B2B industry news and trends, researching specific subjects relating to content that we are looking to create and for writing compelling, industry relevant best practice guides, top tips, infographics and blogs along with a host of other copy for other media including for presentations, case studies, proposals and scripts for videos and podcasts.

The tone of voice will be professional, yet will be slightly different for each brand and therefore, the copywriter will need to be able to adapt to each brand quickly.  The assets we produce are aimed at a senior business decision makers within marketing, sales and business development functions and therefore, the language used should be appropriately business centric without being jargon heavy.  The copywriter will need to be able to adapt their style to suit marketing, sales and business development audiences and should understand the motivators and nuisances between each.

Lead Forensics and Webeo are fast-paced environments and the studio is no exception.  The copywriter will be required to work quickly, yet accurately and will need to be able to write compelling content, with an exceptional eye for proof reading and for the tone of voice required to connect with our particular audiences.

Lead Forensics and Webeo are dynamic, rapidly expanding organisations, and this role sits within the studio team in our marketing department of over 70 personnel with a wide variety of skills. The team offers a great support network, and passionate and results driven environment to work within.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate B2B copywriter to work with two of the UK’s leading SaaS brands.
 
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Create compelling powerful, original and creative B2B copy – relevant to each online and offline media
  • Take briefs from internal stakeholders from across the business with regard to the copy required for each asset
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Lead Forensics and Webeo software, as well as the technology and B2B marketing and sales industries
  • Be able to write within brand guidelines and in the defined Lead Forensics and Webeo tone of voice
  • Collaborate with the studio team on a day-to-day basis to discuss the copy and what needs to be done to meet the business’ demands
  • Proof read business assets and making copy recommendations as required
  • Become the copy and tone of voice ambassador for each brand, advising all other business areas with regard to the language and tone that should be leveraged throughout the business
  • Create copy for global (English speaking) audiences
  • Research pertinent industry topics that would be suitable for creating content around
  • Conduct research for each content piece, ensuring that all content pieces have substance, based upon well rounded research leveraging facts and statistics to be able to support any content claims

 
SKILLS

  • Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Exceptional written language skills, with experience of writing for in the B2B sector
  • Experience creating compelling ideas and writing clear persuasive and original copy
  • Ability to write in long and short format, and write copy for different medias
  • Ensure all work is produced to a world class standard and have the highest level of attention to detail
  • Be able to manage multitude projects and work in a fast pace environment within deadline
  • Willingness to research and understand B2B technology and the marketing and sales industries
  • Ability to turn sometimes complex content into easily understood, digestible and engaging copy
  • Able to self-manage time, deadlines and team expectations while prioritising workloads
  • A positive attitude and desire to produce high quality and exceptional work every time
