Overview:

 

We are looking for an SDR Manager to lead our Sales Development Representative program in the US. The role is to lead a team of Outbound Sales Development Representatives within our Sales Academy, so that they can progress through the business into a full end to end sales role and become an Inside Sales Rep and top talent within our business.

 

Our Sales Development Reps conduct a high volume of outbound calls to generate sales-ready appointments for the sales team, this role will involve leading from the front and will be to provide constant support, coaching and training of your team.

 

You will have experience of leading or managing a SDR or Inside Sales team, worked within a target driven sales or SDR / Lead Generation environment. Ideally within a business to business environment, however we can consider someone from a business to consumer high volume outbound calling environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the US outbound lead generation team, booking high volume and quality sales ready appointments for the teams team
  • Ensure the SDR team are trained in using the company CRM system and able to source additional leads
  • Working with your team to develop their sales skills and product knowledge in order to give them the essential skills to progress into the sales team
  • Support the SDR’s to achieve their revenue and KPI target so that they can promote into the Sales team
  • Be a hands-on leader, and generating sales-ready appointments from outbound calling
  • Support the team to identify key decision makers and speaking with Directors and SMTs, ensuring that each appointment is well qualified and is a genuine opportunity for the sales team
  • Regular interaction with the sales management team to monitor department progression, quality and performance against targets Ensuring the team are working towards and achieving daily and weekly KPI’s
  • Monitoring and increasing productivity for the SDR function, and providing management with reports on metrics and KPI’s
  • Recruitment and selection of the team; work closely with the recruitment team working towards monthly inductions. Carrying out face to face interviews, role plays and attending and contributing to group assessment centres
  • Work closely with the training team to retain and develop SDR’s
  • Coaching and supporting the team to achieve their daily, weekly, and monthly. Carrying out weekly 121 and goal setting sessions
  • Ensuring your team is motivated, inspired, and hitting key development
  • Assist with Sales and Marketing projects that help drive revenue growth
  • Initiate and manage sales activities and incentives for the team

 

Essential skills:

  • Ability to support and nurture raw talent

  • Willingness to go above and beyond to deliver business objectives
  • Well organised and with good time management skills
  • Ability to connect and build rapport with potential clients
  • Experience in Microsoft packages; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
