GDPR is an opportunity to reset the equilibrium

This month, Elizabeth Denham (head of the ICO) gave a speech, putting all of the GDPR questions to rest.

She made a very important point- organisations who see GDPR compliance as simply a chore to complete are “missing a trick”. The new GDPR regulations bring organisations a chance to thrive as they re-evaluate systems and engage on a new level with individuals.

It’s a big concern of the ICO that “only one in five people in the UK trust organisations to look after their data”. We as organisations have the opportunity to change that and earn the trust of individuals back. Though we work on a B2B playing field, our day to day interaction still happens on an individual level. We would all do well to ensure action is taken to not only comply with the GDPR but to let people know about how we’re doing it.

We at Lead Forensics have already started on our road to showing individuals how we are GDPR compliant- check out some of our resources and blog posts around GDPR compliance and our company, or refer to our compliance section for more information. As Lead Forensics has the ability to show you what businesses are visiting your website, and provides contact details for your new business leads, we’ve received a lot of questions about the new regulations. We are pleased to claim full compliance when it comes to our data and the GDPR- so why not look into our free demo? You’ll be generating high quality, GDPR compliant leads in no time!
