In February 2021, Lead Forensics achieved the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 certification.
The ISO 27001 is the leading international standard focusing on information security, developed to help organizations protect their information through the adoption of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
One of the biggest challenges of this accreditation is that it is specific to each company that acquires it, putting in place up to 114 information security controls to protect and maintain the integrity of data from entry to exit, mitigating any risks. These controls are also subject to an annual audit and after three years recertification is required; this means that this accreditation requires continuous input and must remain a priority for the standard to be upheld.
At Lead Forensics, we believe that the high standards of information security are a requirement within the website identification sector. Our team has and continues to invest time to ensure we meet this standard, giving our customers further confidence in our security implementations and that we are working to the highest security standard possible.
“Becoming ISO 27001 compliant was something really important to me and my team, and the business as a whole. Security is critical to Lead Forensics, and we want to ensure our customers and their data are always safe. This certification enables us to safeguard our customers and provides us with all the information needed to protect highly valuable information. We’re thrilled to be able to honour the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in line with the ISMS” – Mark Hewson, Chief Technology Officer at Lead Forensics.
