about Lead ForensicsEntrepreneur Paul Thomas saw an opportunity to help B2B companies grow fast. Combining his vision and with our development wizard, Lead Forensics was born and a B2B lead generation revolution began.
Starting with a team of just three people, the first clients were signed, and the tracking codes went live. Clients instantly saw a return on investment and version one of the Lead Forensics software took off. This year, Lead Forensics began its relationship with Building Schools For Africa, working to raise money for the fantastic organization.
After client success in 2010, the basic concept was developed into a market leading solution and version two of Lead Forensics was released. The customer base increased tenfold — as did the employee head count — helping the business to thrive.
With more than 50 employees by 2012, the business was really starting to fly. Lead Forensics rebranded and launched a new website, as well as winning the Best Innovation for Best Business Award. The company reinvested profits to enrich data and further develop the software and, as a result the customer base grew over 400% from the previous year.
By 2013, Lead Forensics had intensified its marketing efforts, including increasing its brand presence and reach at events, exhibitions and in B2B publications. The company also opened an office in Atlanta, Georgia in June to reflect the positive reaction from US clients and expand the brand on American soil.
2014 saw further expansion to Lead Forensics — with more than 250 employees globally and new members of the team joining on a weekly basis. As one of the UK’s fastest growing development teams, the business was able to evolve and innovate at a hyperfast rate and release version three of the software in December 2014.
In 2015, Lead Forensics launched Lead Manager — a new way for customers to manage leads from opportunity to sale. Using the tool, customers could now set call backs, schedule appointments and keep track of notes, quotes and proposals at every stage of the process, all in one place — making lead management even easier. Throughout 2015, thanks to the Give As You Earn Scheme, Lead Forensics contributed more than £100,000 to Building Schools For Africa.
In 2016, Lead Forensics introduced essential contact information, accessible directly from the portal, using the highest-ranking data sources available. Customers were now able to instantly access names, positions and email addresses of key decision-makers from their website traffic. Full visibility of key contacts helped customers build relationships even faster and has become a game changer in the industry.
The software continued to advance with updates to Lead Manager — enhanced reports and daily summaries, as well as the addition of Lead Upload. 2017 also saw the launch of the Lead Forensics mobile app, so users could identify and follow-up new business leads, and access Lead Manager on-the-go. Alongside a CRM integration update, trigger reports, categorization by industry, and additional features within the Customer Academy — Lead Forensics was taking the B2B world by storm.
In 2018, new features were introduced — from a drag and drop system for effective pipeline management to automated lead creation. Hotscores was launched — helping sales become more targeted and boosting ROI with advanced lead scoring. Lead Accelerate and Lead Messenger were developed — users could now proactively engage with website visitors, automate messaging and enhance the on-site experience. And, they could gain valuable insight into sales made through Lead Manager with Sales Revenue reports.
An update to Lead Manager enabled users to locate and prioritize leads — and Lead Reveal meant notifications could be sent directly to their desktop. 2019 also saw the addition of a real-time alert page, faster data processing, simpler uploads and automation in Data Manager and email campaign tracking. The company funded a project in Cameroon that developed a maternity center at Ntaache in the NW region — a cause the team is extremely passionate about.

The Lead Forensics Foundation
We’re big believers in giving back, not just to our people, but to those in need around the world. Since 2010 Lead Forensics have been committed to raising money for UK charity Building Schools for Africa. The charity is dedicated to building and repairing the dilapidated schools across rural Cameroon and providing hundreds of children with an education, clean drinking water facilities and hygienic segregated toilets.
The team at Lead Forensics have climbed mountains, cycled to Paris and will skydive into London to raise money for Building Schools for Africa. And with annual fundraisers, events, dress down days and a Give As You Earn scheme, we aim to contribute over £100,000 to the charity in 2015.
