New for this year, the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List recognizes companies making employee development a key part of company culture. These workplaces offer employees the chance to better themselves, learn new skills, and progress within the organization. They understand that development is not one-size-fits-all and actively support every single employee to undertake their own tailored journey of growth. Because of this, their people are fueled by a sense of purpose, feel valued by their employer, and give their best to the organization.

Our inclusion on this exclusive list officially acknowledges our commitment to development, innovation, and employee growth. Over the past 12 months, we have introduced numerous new initiatives to solidify our commitment to employee development, including our internal learning and development platform, the introduction of personal development plans for every team member, and regular mentorship programs led by senior leaders.

To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List, Great Place to Work® reviewed our culture, benefits, approach to leadership and development, alongside anonymous responses from our employees. They then used these data insights to benchmark our company’s employee value proposition against the culture our employees actually experience. Only the businesses that achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.

Josh Saunders, Chief People Officer of Lead Forensics, said:
“Our inclusion in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List is a testament to our people-first approach. We believe that when our team members are supported to grow, the business grows too. This recognition validates the hard work our People Team has put in to ensure that learning and development is embedded into everything we do.”

“Training and development aren’t just about helping employees perform their day-to-day tasks – it’s about demonstrating that people are valued and that there’s a clear path for growth. When employees can’t see opportunities ahead, they’re less likely to be fully engaged, which can harm both productivity and retention,” said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK.

“Development is all about looking forward – it shows a commitment to an employee’s long-term potential. It helps individuals feel appreciated and plays a vital role in shaping a strong company culture. Every year, we celebrate organizations that are building exceptional workplace cultures where people and businesses thrive. Learning and development opportunities are a key part of that, which is why we’re especially excited to be unveiling the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development.”

The award follows our Best Workplaces™ 2025 certification, which we recieved in April. We’re so proud of this achievement and look forward to using the valuable insights Great Place To Work® has provided us to build on our culture and employee satisfaction.
